We all know the importance of including some form of exercise in to our daily routine for the benefits it provides to our health and wellbeing. Even though we know this, sometimes it is hard to tick this task off the list, usually because we either don't feel like it, or we know we are going to feel the effects of it when we do.

Did you know that essential oils can support you in your health and exercise journey?

Some can soothe sore muscles, while others help your airways feel open and clear. Some oils are perfect for enhancing recovery or supporting your space. For those times when you can't motivate yourself to even get dressed for the gym or your home workout, essential oils can give you that push you need to launch into action!

I suffer from chronic and acute pain (for the past 30 years) and exercise is a love-hate relationship for me. I know I need to do it, but making the decision, and actually getting to the gym is hard. My feelings come into play - that is, I know I am going to be feeling a level of discomfort that I don't want!

I booked an hour long aromatherapy session with footsoak, which is a really nice way to enter the session. From then on you spend the session lying down, as Steph works her magic with a variety of essential oils. Each oil brings a different sensation, but overall the experience is incredibly relaxing. I’d highly suggest booking this in on an afternoon where you can go home and relax, it’s the perfect way to pamper yourself while promoting good sleep, muscle relaxation, detoxification and more. I felt so positive and refreshed after my session, and was productive throughout my work afternoon. I then had an amazing sleep that night and the following. I have a lot of tension in my mid and lower back, and aromatouch worked wonders! I can’t wait to come back, thank you Steph!

Yesterday I experienced my first AromaTouch with Stephanie Arthrell, in her newly appointed space. It was a calm, fresh environment, easily accessed and with an abundance of parking. Before beginning the session, a foot soak with AromaTouch on the feet, back and head, Stephanie explained the process, so I felt fully confident about what AromaTouch was all about. For me, it was all about showing love and care to my body and soul. All of my senses were catered to, with a specifically designed pattern of touch with the DoTerra Oils. Using breathing for relaxation, I was immediately relaxed, and enjoyed having the full hour to rest. Stephanie seems to have healing hands and peacefully shows care and attention. When the session was finished, Stephanie ensured I was well hydrated and I spent the evening completed relaxed. I slept solidly all night, without waking. In the morning, I felt truly refreshed and ready to start the day. Happiness is a word I would use to describe what I felt today. I am generally a person that finds it very hard to relax so I was very surprised that I almost fell asleep during my Aromatouch experience. The oils were warming, soothing and relaxing, so much so, that when finished, I stayed on the massage table! I smelt divine too.

I was thoroughly spoilt last week when I spent the afternoon receiving my AromaTouch treatment. I was immediately put at ease when I walked into a beautiful setting - everything from the gentle music, the incredible aroma and the comfortable furnishings had been lovingly provided. I began my session with a foot soak which was the perfect start to my time of relaxation. I then lay on the massage bed and Stephanie began gently but firmly applying the oils. It was a treat for many of my senses. The warmth from the oil made me feel like I was receiving a hug well into the evening. I slept solidly that night and woke feeling refreshed the next day.
